• Personalized instruction, and after the lesson time an additional 30-45 mins of dedicated time for students to meticulously clean up their clay mess : )

• Bisque and glaze firing (Glaze application by studio). Choice of 1 glaze color per piece.

We will contact text you in 4 to 6 weeks after your lesson. Your finished pottery will be packed for pick up. We will text you a photo of your work. If you are unable to pick up your pottery yourself, please appoint someone else to pick it up for you.

After each lesson, we spend 30–45 minutes cleaning and drying workstations together. This prevents hazardous clay dust and keeps our space safe for everyone (including pups!).

Don’t want to clean? Add an optional Cleaning Fee to your cart, and we’ll handle it for you.

• Reschedule online up to 72 hours (3 days) before your lesson using the orange [Reschedule Class] button in the confirmation email.

• Rescheduling between 72–24 hours before your lesson is subject to a 50% fee (this covers your instructor’s time). To move your credit forward, please email throw@handsinclayla.com or call/text 310-567-2708.

• Rescheduling or canceling within 24 hours of your lesson, or not showing up, will result in a full charge.

• We do not offer refunds. Studio credit only may apply in eligible cases.

Your finished pieces will be ready 4–6 weeks after your private lesson. We’ll text you with a photo when they’re packed for pick-up.

• You’ll have 30 days from our text to collect your pottery.

• After 30 days, unclaimed work will be discarded or donated.

• Can’t come in? Please arrange a friend or courier to pick up for you.

• Need extra time? We offer storage at $3/day, payable in advance.
